Adam Whittington, who runs Child Abduction Recovery International (CARI) and Project Rescue Children (PRC) who has been arrested and jailed on several occasions is no stranger to publicly publishing fake successful recovery stories.
CARI’s Facebook page featured a photograph in 2013 of a woman in a rescue helicopter clutching an infant on her lap.
The caption written beside it says ‘Landed safely back home in Australia, 2 children abducted over 12 months ago into the Philippines. One VERY happy family waiting at Sydney airport after CARI recovered both children safely from horrible living and health conditions.
The real story behind this, is that it was a rescue operation in the USA after a family became stranded in the heavy snow fall.

In 2014, Whittington posted a picture of a small girl named ‘Alake’. Adam Whittington post lies about the fake abduction of a child from Kenya to Zambia. The child posted in this picture is actually owner by Getty Images. She is a model and was never an abducted child. At the time Adam Whittington from CARI posted this technology had not allowed us to do reverse image searches, but time caught up with Adam Whittington and his lies. See below.
“At the request of the mother….CARI would like to welcome home little Alake pictured below.Little bundle of joy couldn’t stop smiling after seeing her mother. As you can see she couldn’t take her eyes off her mum even when we took this picture.” (really, Adam??? you took this picture from Getty Images, not a camera)
Alake was abducted by family members and taken to Zambia from Kenya. She was taken in extreme circumstances over 7 months ago from her mothers arms and was not heard from again. CARI would like to thank our helpers in Zambia for assisting CARI operatives. (thank them for what Adam? Stealing a picture from the internet?)
Welcome Home little Alake……We are also excited to announce, CARI will continue to provide after care for both Alake and her mother including covering Alake’s medical expenses. (LOL) We will also be sponsoring Alake by offering a monthly direct donation to her mother. (FRAUD)
A special big thank you from Alake’s mother (Mrs. Kodak we are assuming?) to the lovely donation she received from the anonymous donater (English?) in Kenya funding being victim parents biggest issue when trying to recover their children. It’s great to see outsiders donating funds as in little Alake’s story.
Do Not Trust ADAM WHITTINGTON he is a liar and misrepresents his “recoveries.” This alone is proof you cant trust anything he reports to be true. His blog is full of lies and half truths. Mr. Whittington is a LIAR and not someone you want near a child. God forbid he continues to harm abducted children and their victimized parents.
The very same picture appeared on the front cover of his book in 2010 several years before being posted on the CARI Facebook page.
CARI also claimed to have rescued a Singaporean boy on July 23, 2014, on their Facebook page, writing: ‘CARI operatives worked in a joint operation with Thailand police and immigration to successfully locate and recover a young baby taken by the father from Singapore (picture attached with approval of mother)’.
We can reveal the picture was taken by a Mr Szoke on his travels on or around 2010, again several years before being posted on the CARI Facebook page. Mr Szoke had no idea that, the picture ended up being used by CARI. ‘That is a picture from my blog and was taken about 4 years ago in Laos,’.
‘I was traveling. I don’t know the baby or its parents.’
‘I took the photo. Have no knowledge of this Mr. Whittington, but his story is highly unlikely to say the least!’
The above faked recoveries are but a few of many fake stories published by Whittington, all have since been deleted from the CARI Facebook page. He is very keen to promote fake stories and most of his “operations end up in complete disaster with the operatives being jailed along with the parents.
